How to start a branch of the House of Dela Pena

Each country will have a Governador General and other post of office.

Every clan will select from the Local areas a Lord/ Lady Mayor, and other post of the office.

The Governador General will represent the Central house of Dela Pena, he will do the duties of a governor. to over see the activities and events of the clan in all part of his governance.
He must be the source of balance on peace and unity. During the reunion he will represent the whole clan present in his place of origin.

The Founder of the Mercidarians

St. Peter Nolasco

Feastday: January 28
1189-1256

With St. Raymond of Penafort, founder of the Order of Mercedarians, the religious community which sent members as ransom for Christian prisoners in the hands of the Saracens. Details of his life are uncertain, but he was probably a native of Languedoc, France. After taking part in the crusade against the heretic Albigensians of southern France, he became a tutor of King James I of Aragon and then settled at Barcelona. There he became friends with St. Raymond of Penafort, and in 1218, with the support of James I, they laid the foundation for the Mercedarians, devoted to the ransoming of Christian captives. Twice Peter went to Africa to serve as a captive, and it was reported that during one journey to Granada and Valencia he won the release from Moorish jails of some four hundred captive Christians. Retiring in 1249, he was followed as head of the order by William of Bas. He was canonized by Pope Urban VIII in 1628. His feast day is now confined to local calendars.

THE ORDER OF Blessed Louis de la Pena, Priest, Martyr, Mercedario

As we have already said, at the beginning, one of the titles used to refer to the Institute founded by Saint Peter Nolasco was Order of Mercy or of the ‘misericordia’ of captives. Mary’s name was added very early to this title.

The first time that Mary’s name is found in a document in the title of the Order is in the bull Prout Scriptura testatur of Pope Alexander IV, issued on May 3, 1258, in Perugia. Writing to archbishops, bishops, abbots, etc., to inform them of the spiritual graces and the faculties granted to the Mercedarians because of their beneficent work for the sake of captives, the pope states: “Considering that the Master and the friars of Blessed Mary of Mercy, also called of Saint Eulalia… work with all their power…” As the pope joins the name of Mary to the term mercy, we have the denomination Blessed Mary of Mercy as part of the Order’s title. From the context of the bull, it can be inferred that the name of Mary of Mercy was already known. One should not assume that the pope would have used the name of Mary without any motive or that he imposed it by his authority. Furthermore, the pope did not send the bull directly to the friars of the Order. The logical explanation must be sought in the interdependence between the Blessed Virgin and the Order dedicated to the redemption of captives. Mercedarians were convinced that the Mother of God, the Virgin Mary, intervened directly in the Order’s foundation. Consequently, the legislators of the 1272 Constitutions made Mary’s name official in the title by calling the Order: Order of the Virgin Mary of Mercy of the Redemption of Captives of Saint Eulalia.

Because of this belief, the name of the first Master, Peter Nolasco, never appears in the Order’s title in thirteenth century documents so that the glory and honor of the foundation would be attributed to the celestial lady, the messenger of the Trinity, whom the Mercedarian Order considers as its Foundress and Mother. Since the Mercedarian historian, Nadal Gaver (1445), this presence of Mary has been concretized in the account of the Virgin Mary’s apparition to Saint Peter Nolasco, ordering him because it was God’s will, to establish in her honor an Order committed to the redemption of captives.

Blessed Louis dela Pena, November 24

Blessed Louis de la Pena, Priest, Martyr, Mercedario
+ November 24, 1599

Of Chilean origin, Blessed Louis dela Pena received his Mercedarian religious training in Chile, professing before the year 1578. Ordained a priest, he held various offices in his province, especially evangelize Araucans and was Commendatore of the convent of Valdivia. In an attack Araucans warriors who entered the night in the convent, Father Luig, awakened after the other men, went down in the church and ate the consecrated hosts, to prevent them from being desecrated. He still had the ciborium in his hand, when the warriors came to the church and killed him with blows of lance and looking for the Blessed Sacrament, they opened his chest and tore his heart out. It was November 24 1599, where his body was burned in the fire of the church and he is considered a Martyr of the Eucharist.

It was this date that Jeffrey Dela Pena Lumbay was crowned Sovereign majesty Ceriel I.

How to Celebrate 1. The celebration starts with a Holy Mass, a thanks giving and healing of the Family tree. 2. After the mass there is food to be shared. fellowship or feeding and medical outreach program. 3. Socialization program. singing dancing and feasting. 4. Prayer for the ancestors souls, headed by the priest. 5. To close the event is a fireworks display.
The Patron saint of the Dela Pena is: SAINT JOHN THE EVANGELIST also known as SAN JUAN DELA PENA. because he use to pray on the rocky side of the mountain facing the sea, and it was on that spot that he wrote the book of the REVELATION.
So statue of Saint John the Evangelist should be present also.

Since the Dela Pena has a close connection of the Holy Grail there should be a chalice placed in a table at the right side of the altar to represent the Holy Grail. This then will be for the Dela Pena the feast of the Holy Grail too. See picture of Saint John with the Holy Grail. which he left at the famous San Juan Dela Pena Monastery in Spain now enshrine at the cathedral of Valencia.

The HOLY GRAIL's power

So in my study, I Ceriel I has fully understood that God is in nature and God is omniputent, He uses cup to bring His desire in saving His own creation from their sins. In the Last supper we heard that Jesus upon raising the cup, He said to His apostles. '' TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU AND DRINK FROM IT FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANTY..." Jesus is refering to a new covenant between God and man, and that is HIS DIVINE MERCY.

In the Garden of Gethsemani, during the prayer of Jesus an angel appeared to Him to streangthen him,the Angel is holding a cup. Now a days we call it chalice.

In our Holy Sacrifice of the mass every time we see the chalice will remind us of the covenant God made to us through His Son Jesus.

Jesus becomes the Cup the vessel of our salvation. the fulfillment of the Father's desire to save us all. A cup in Kabbalah stands for a desire and to receive. God desire us to be saved and we are the beneficiary of this salvation.

Most Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI,

The words of the late Pope John Paul II is still freash in the hearts of us young Filipino people, he entrusted to us the mission of the church, that is why I tirelessly must do something to response to him.

I beg you Most Holy Father, we need you to fulfill the promise of the Late Pope John Paul II, you know how we love each other, How the late Paul II is much at home in our country... His death up to now never heals our great lost.

By Your presence Most Holy Father, we belive we can move on. Most specially that I am writing His Holiness the late Pope John Paul II a letter. In him I see our Lord Jesus. May you make him a Saint, for His words has touched millions and change the History of the World, this is the greatest miracle ever the Late BEloved Pope John Paul II did.

The Letter of Plea of H.Majesty Ceriel the First to the United Nation

Dear Excellencies of the world,

I am appealing to you on behalf of the young generations of the world, to work as a team to promote life and equality to all.

The Global crisis that we are facing affects their growth and development.

Life is a gift from God, and I strongly asked you to reflect on this situation we are experiencing due to our mistakes in running God's goverment on earth. I know you will take my voice for granted for I am just a leader of a small humanitarian group I started. I've seen too much suffering already as I visit some towns and un reachable areas in the Philippines.

I ask you Leaders of every nation, to be one with other nations in need. We are all brothers and Sisters in a one big family of God. we must share and stop compiting to one another, it is time that we will be one in fighting this global crisis for the young generations who are suffering with us. It's time to fulfill the dream of the late Pope John Paul II for a civilization of love. That we all live as true brothers and Sisters.

To my fellow young people in the world, this is our task, to build the civilization of God. As I can see it clearly, Our beloved Pope John Paul II entrusted us the Cross of Jesus the simbol of the love of God to us all, because we are the future of every nation and of the church....

I challenge you my fellow young people to stand up and be agent of peace, in your families, friends and community. Take part my fellow youth of the world in building a world of a better place for our future generation to live with. let us erase the mistakes of our elders that lead us to suffer more. See how this great pastor of and Vicar of Jesus Christ tirelessly reach us all to find the love of God we long to experience.

To those nation in conflict, See the result of your violation in the eyes of crying children, although they can't speak, yet there tears are enough to say that they are in pain. I strongly asked to put down your arms in the name of the Child Jesus who can be seen in the eyes of the poor suffering Children. ENOUGH! I say that you must find ways to feed those hungry families in your areas instead of fighting other nations using money to by arms and bullets. Fellow young people, we must be commited to march for life, to show our leaders that we long for a better world, with a peace and loving leaders like parents.

To you dear leaders, you are our national parents, show us your care and love... Embrace us as your own fleash and blood. Listent to us.... we are calling you.

To all Christians in the world: "Christianity is not a culture or an ideology, Christianity is a person, a presence, a face of Jesus." If you are experiencing a great lost on the death of this true vicar of Jesus on earth... So also me, I have wrote him letters since 1995, So this letter to all the nation, thru the United nation, is my reply and a gift to His Holiness Pope John Paul II. I dedicate this foundation to him, and my humanitarian youth group who is now growing in his paternal care and prayers in Heaven. The Mary's Armies to Save Souls

The Mary's Armies to Save souls was born on October 14, 2003, during the coronation of Ceriel the first as its founder and head. This humanitarian association was named again into BOLTIADO,DELA PENA, LUMBAY FOUNDATION. The effort of the sovereign head was tiresome and painful for the group is a none sectarian and a none profit group, Thru friends this group survive, giving feeding programs and sometimes asking Doctors to render a free medical outreach program.

The heart of the sovereign head is on the poor, he wants to bring the voice of the poor to the Nations of the world. He wants equalitu to every human beings in the world. Due to shortage of funds, the sovereign head is moved to work as caregiver to gather funds for his projects. He read about the knights templar and is moved to start the group of young people in honor of his great great grand father in Spain who has connection with the Holy Grail, thus calling the youth Humanitarian group of M.A.S.S.A ( Mary' Armies to Save Souls Association) as the new Knight Templars of the Holy Grail.

The sovereign head wish to promote peace and doing so he travel around the realm of his little group challenging the youth to be agents of peace. Despite the fatigue in helping hungry family, the Sovereign majesty will fly hopefully abroad to work as caregiver, and will send his salary to the Philippines to His realm to support his project here inthe Philippines for the Poor.

HISTORY OF THE HOLY GRAIL

According to certain traditions St Peter took the Cup of the Last Supper from the Cenacle of Jerusalem and sent it to Rome. Ancient historians, such as Siuri, bishop of Sales, are championning this thesis. In Rome this was the papal Chalice, beginning with St Peter up to Sixtus II. In the beginning of Christianity, Popes were celebrating Mass only with this Chalice. These facts appear to conform with a notably valuable document: the Mass Canon (the ancient Papal Canon). According to it, Popes when were taking this 'Santo Caliz' for the consecration of wine were saying in Latin:

St Peter as eyewitness and the rest of Popes knew that it was the Holy Cup where the Lord had consecrated the wine at the Last Supper. Today when a priest, bishop or pope celebrates Mass with another chalice says the words "taking the cup...", such as it is written in Gospels (Mt 26:27), only with the Santo Caliz they can say "taking this cup...".

St Peter's successor was Linus, then Anacletus, Clementis, Evariste, Alexander, Sistus I, etc.In year 258, being pope Sistus II, the Roman emperor Valerianus signed an edict to appropiate the whole Christian possessions. Sistus II gave the papal goods to his deacon, the Spanish St Lawrence, with the goal that were distributed amongst beggars. So he did it, except the Santo Caliz. Before that both Sistus II and St Lawrence were killed, the daecon gave the Grail to a Spanish soldier who transferred it to Huesca (Spain). There was a painting fresco in the St Lawrence's Basilica (Rome) where was recorded the fact of this saint giving the Chalice (a two-handled chalice) to a Spanish soldier, but this painting and others with Grail images were destroyed in the bombardment of Rome by the Allies, July 1943. Mr Waol, chancellor of this Basilica during 30 years, describes this picture with the characteristic two-handled Grail in his book Rampilgerl.

In 553, Vicentius, bishop of Huesca, placed the Holy Chalice at the new temple in this town, where it was for 158 years. In 711, Muslims invaded Spain, from the south they began to extend toward north. The Huesca bishop, Acisclo, his nephews, Orosia and Cornelio, and a group of christian supporters taking the Grail ran away to Southern Pyrenees. They hid the Chalice inside the wall of Chapel of S. Pedro de Siresa, and built a star on the ground with one of the arms pointing its exact position. Later, bishop Acisclo and his nephews were killed by Moor Muza' troops, however the Holy Grail remained safe in 'S. Pedro de Siresa' for a century. Then the Chalice was moved to Cathedral of Jaca, and finally, in 1063, it was transferred to St. Juan de la Peña Monastery, a incredible building placed inside of a cave in an inaccessible mountainside. Knights Templar were guarding this Grail.
Four centuries later, in 1399, the Santo Caliz stood still in St Juan de la Peña (see map of Holy Grail), then the King of Aragon, Martin V 'the Human', determined to move it at the chapel of the Royal Palace in Zaragoza. To silence the claims of Monasterio Bajo monks he made a gold replica of this Grail for the Monastery, which centuries later was destroyed by the monastery fire. Upon the king's death, in 1410, the Santo Caliz was found in the inventory of his properties in Barcelona. The successor to throne was Fernando de Antequera who died four years later. Then the new successor was Alfonso V 'the Magnanimus', King of Valencia, Aragon, Majorca, Napoles and Sicily. In 1424, Alfonso V brought the Holy Chalice at the Palacio Real in Valencia. In 1437, Alfonso's brother, Don Juan, King of Navarre placed the Grail at the Valencia Cathedral where today is present. From this Cathedral it was taken out only twice: during the Independence war (1809-1813) it moved to Alicante, Ibiza and Palma of Majorca; and at the National Uprising (1936-1939) it was hidde at private homes in Carlet and Valencia.
In 1982, H.H. Pope John Paul II came to Valencia, when he celebrated Mass with the Santo Caliz, 1724 years later, a Pope was able to celebrate the Mass with the Holy Grail.

I dedicate this foundation of the youth branch of the Knights Templar of the Holy Grail to you as the vicar of Jesus and to Our beloved late Pope John Paul II. Who in some way has strongly touched us to take up the cross of Jesus in all parts of the world.

And Serve Mother church as Young Evangelizers of the Third Millenium.

Ceriel the First to start the first Knight Temlpars of the Holy Grail

Cerie the First, Jeffrey Dela Pena Lumbay, will begin the devotion of the Holy Grail in the Philippines by forming the Youth branch of the Knights Templar of the Holy Grail, in honor of the most powerful relic in the world.

This idea came to the mind of the sovereign majesty due to the fact that the original chalice used by Jesus in the last supper was first kept in the monastery of SAN JUAN DELA PENA in Spain, before taken to the Cathedral of Valencia.

The sovereign majesty even before promotes the deeds of mercy, and become speaker to large number of crowds asking young souls to be agent of peace, and be the answered prayer of the late Pope John Paul II for in making a civilization of love and producing many young evangelizers of the Gospel of Jesus in the third millenium. The sovreign majesty's poverty knights only rest on donations and gifts from benefactors which they distribute to affected families. Doing so we become instrument for the benefactors to practice the deeds of Mercy as required by Jesus to all in oder to enter the kingdom of heaven as expressed in matthew 25:41.

This Knights Templar of the Holy Grail is a youth organization that will help the Roman Catholic Church, build the Kingdom of God on Earth, thru the power of the Holy Grail.

For as the late Pope John Paul II said in his 1995 arrival speach at Ninoy Aquino International Airport for the 10th world youth day. The Pope said: MY DEAR YOUNG PEOPLE, YOU ONLY NOT SERVE AS THE HOPE OF EVERY NATION BUT YOU ALSO SERVES AS THE HOPE OF THE CHURCH, AND THE WORLD AS WELL.
